Mary K. is a homeowner in Columbus, NE and was frustrated with the concrete in front of her garage. It had settled over time creating a large drop off from the garage floor to the driveway, making it an extreme tripping hazard. With grandkids learning how to walk, she knew it was time to have it repaired. She chose Thrasher because she was familiar with our concrete repair solutions and knew it would be a fraction of the cost of having it replaced.
To begin the concrete leveling project, System Design Specialist Jesse White arrived at the home in Columbus to inspect the driveway. Jesse determined the concrete had settled in front of the garage due to soil washout underneath from water seeping in through the control joints. To repair this, Mary chose to have Thrasher install our 2-Part Concrete Protection System. Our PolyLevel concrete lifting foam is installed first by injecting underneath to permanently level the surface with the garage. NexusPro sealer was then applied to all cracks and control joints to prevent any water from creating issues long into the future.
Mary couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome of the project. Thrasher was able to provide her a solution for a fraction of the cost of replacing the driveway. She now has peace of mind when her grandchildren visit and utilize the front of the house.

Our crews arrived at the home in Manhattan and immediately went to work installing our 3-part concrete protection system. First, our PolyLevel foam was installed by injecting it underneath all uneven areas to permanently lift and level each slab. NexusPro crack filler was then applied to all cracks and joints to seal off the surface and protect against water damage. Lastly, SealantPro was sprayed onto the entire surface to repel water and prevent surface stains.
This driveway's cracks have been caulked with NexusPro! It's important to caulk concrete joints to stop water from flowing under the concrete which can cause the slabs to move and shift.
