At this ranch style home located in Broad Brook, CT, we stripped the old roof and replaced it all. We first tore off the layer of the existing shingles and recycled them at the Asphalt Recycling Center, which will turn the old asphalt shingles into roads! We then replaced any damaged plywood decking. This homeowner will have peace of mind going into the stormy winter months.
Located in Broad Brook, CT, this home was in desperate need of a complete roof replacement. We first stripped the entire roof down to the plywood decking and hauled the debris to the Asphalt Roof Recycling Center in Stratford, CT to be recycled into paved roads.
Next, we installed ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment-a durable tear-resistant material engineered to repel water and to adhere to the roofing surface. To top it off, we installed a VentSure Ridge Vent to provide consistent attic ventilation and replaced the chimney flashing with new lead flashing.
The roof here on this colonial home in South Glastonbury was pushing 30 years, with a total of two layers to remove. Three rows of Ice & Water shield brought an extra layer of modern protection to this classic style home. We also removed and replaced all of the existing siding and replaced it with new wood clapboard siding.
What a difference a day makes. Here was a modern style architecture home located in Killingworth, CT. There was a great deal of visual deterioration, with a large amount of moss and curled shingles. ProArmor Synthetic underlayment was used underneath, for added protection against moisture penetration. Cleanup was a challenge, as the home was located on a hill overlooking a large body of water. Klaus Larsen always makes sure to leave a property looking better than we found it, and this replacement turned out awesome!
Built in 2002, this single family home in Killingworth, CT was experiencing leaking in the home. After investigating, a sales representative figured out that nails were coming loose and that's where the water was coming from. Being 16 years old as well, the roof required all damaged plywood decking to be replaced as well as 3 rows of shield to be installed. A new, white aluminum drip edge/rake flashing was installed along the entire outside perimeter of the roof. The existing vent pipe was removed and replaced. A new bathroom exhaust vent hood was put in with a built-in damper. Architectural-style asphalt shingles in the color of Estate Gray, finished off this awesome project!
