This basement located in Candiac, used by our client for pottery work, was suffering from water infiltrations. To fix this situation, we installed our TripleSafe sump pump system so that our client could use her basement without worrying about any potential risk.
The problem
Our client Mr. Pires had recently bought a house in Saint-Philippe. It had a very noisy and unreliable sump pump system and was worried that his system will not be able to expel the water during heavy rain or on spring. So he contacted Systèmes Sous-sol Québec after seeing many sump pump system solutions.
The solution
Replace our client’s sump pump with our SuperSump sump pump system. This system features a powerful ⅓ HP Zoeller cast iron sump pump capable of pumping 8,300 liters of water per hour out of the basement to a height of 8 feet. It is also possible to insert a battery-operated pump. This way, in case of a power failure, the sump pump system will still work.
With this solution, Mr. Pires can have the peace of mind since he now has an efficient and reliable sump pump system.
After having water seeping into his basement our clients contacted our company for a free consultation.
As you can see in the pictures, this was the old sump pump used that was not working well.
In the second picture, you can see that our company has replaced the old sump pump with the Super Sump Pump.
This sump is completely closed and does not let out moisture, drains water under the slab with its 100 holes, has an alarm that sounds in an emergency and can be added a battery backup pump.
As a result, our client's basement was totally dry and he could benefit properly from the area.
A resident of Saint-Lambert contacted Basement Systems Quebec in order to have his basement inspected by a specialist. Due to hydrostatic pressure, the water that accumulated around the foundation easily seeped through it and ended up on the basement floor. Our technicians recommended the installation of the WaterGuard interior foundation drain system and the SuperSump sump pump system. Once the installation was complete, our client’s basement was completely waterproofed.
Here is one of our worksites in Saint-Lambert, where we changed the open and poorly performing pedestal pump with our company’s best sump pump systems, the TripleSafe.
Pumps on pedestals overheat and usually make more noise since they are installed outside the sump!
The TripleSafe system, as you see in the photo, has 3 pumps including a battery-operated backup pump to continuously operate and minimize the risk of water infiltration into the basement.
