Our company’s sump pump systems have the following features: a good cast iron pump, a tight-fitting lid to keep the moisture from entering the basement, an alarm system that sounds when the water level is close to the overflow point, a floor drain in case a plumbing leak occurs, and finally a booster pump system which operates on a direct current battery.

A client from Verdun had moisture problems in his Crawl Space. He noticed that some of the joists of his house were sagging slightly, making the floors of his house no longer level.

Our technicians led by foreman Eugene Alexeenco then proceeded to install a CleanSpace membrane, a SmartSump pump system, and two SmartJack support pillars. They also applied the Mold-X Neutralizer to areas affected by mold.

Mr. Karim is now reassured that the humidity which caused issues in her Crawlspace is a thing of the past!

SmartJacks supports are the best solution to stabilize crawl spaces. These are galvanized steel support devices that solve the problem of joists and posts that are sagging and weakening.

SmartJacks supports effectively spread the weight of the house on the competent ground. So we installed this solution with our Verdun customers who had floor problems.

The SmartJack system is adjustable, so you can tighten it periodically to bring the floor above the crawl space to its original level to eliminate twists and adjust the leveling of the floor.

Our customer a resident of Montreal bought his house several years ago and everything seemed great   until his basement had problems of water infiltration and constant humidity. The owner had every intention of finishing the basement in order to benefit from all the space, but it was impossible with a basement that is not dry.

Our specialist recommended a complete drainage system to protect her entire basement, all the time!

To finish the basement without waterproofing it would have been a bad idea since the risk would have always been present and the water would have infiltrated again and ruined the place.

At the start, we installed the WaterGuard drain under the perimeter of the affected regions. This drain is specially designed to drain the water flowing from the walls, the wall-to-floor, and under-floor joints and redirects it to the pump.

And then we installed The TripleSafe sump pump which is the most efficient pump on the market with 3 existing pumps for more safety.

Finally, we completed this system by installing the IceGuard accessories and LawnScape. The first allows the water to drain even if the pipe freezes in winter and the second lets the water out of the foundation by hiding itself in the grass.
