Mr. Tessier contacted us for a free evaluation to encapsulate his crawl space. There was already insulation, but it was not made with products designed especially for crawl space.

Our specialist Sam went to Saint-Anicet to give this advice and make this submission.

He recommended the installation of our CleanSpace crawl space waterproofing membrane and the SmartDrain drain that will capture the infiltration of water from the earth. All of this is connected to the Sanidry Sedona dehumidification and air purification system. This area is finally dry and clean and contributes to the circulation of clean air throughout the house.

When you receive instructions from your insurance company to repair your crawl space and you do not really know what a crawl space is and how to isolate it, trust specialists who have been doing this for years with products and solutions that have proven themselves.

Thanks to the insulation and encapsulation system, we were able to transform this damaged space into a dry space whose humidity rate meets the respiratory health standard. The crawl space is now more economical, less dirty and usable for storage purposes.

Here is the crawl space of a house located in Notre-Dame-De-La-Merci. These customers had water in their crawl space, as well as high humidity under and inside their home. We therefore carried out a complete encapsulation and waterproofing of the crawl space with our CleanSpace encapsulation system and our WaterGuard interior drain system.

The management of Saint-Jerome day care center knew that the health and the quality of the air in their place need to be perfect. Since the place is mainly filled with babies and kids, it will be very bad if mold and bacteria spread in that place.

We have sent our specialist Jorge to check the entire place and examine the crawl space and after locating the problem he recommended many solutions for all the problems.

As a start, the debris has been removed by the Mold-X2. Mold-X2 is a very strong mold decontamination product that we apply to all wood and masonry.

Then we installed the SmartSump sump pump system which is our smallest system specifically designed to be installed in crawl spaces.

Next step was installing the CleanSpace membrane, which is a vapor barrier that blocks water infiltrations and vapors to redirect them to the interior drainage system.

And finally and in order to dehumidify the place, the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was inserted. This product is the most efficient direct flow system and is also very energy efficient (EnergyStar).

The problem

Mrs. Desjarlaies had humidity problems in her house that came from her earthen crawl space that was not insulated. The relative humidity in the crawl space at the time of the inspection with our specialist was 83.2%. With such high humidity, mold and rot of organic materials develop and the comfort of the house will be affected.

The solution

We installed a new SmartSump sump system, a CleanSpace drainage membrane, and then a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier.

With these solutions, the water in the ground will be removed and ejected outside, the humidity coming from the earth floor and the concrete block foundation walls will be blocked thanks to the CleanSpace and the humidity level can be controlled by the dehumidifier.
