Pleasantly satisfied!  We cannot say enough good things about Quality 1st Basements! I never submit business reviews but Quality 1st deserves recognition for its fantastic work. We have been extremely satisfied with large projects they undertook for us at three different houses. Everything they've done has been very well done. We get good workmanship from Quality 1st. The first house they worked on for us in Central Jersey involved a wet basement. It needed a French drain and a sump pump. When the crew got into the crawlspace, they discovered that cats had made that area their litter box for an unknown number of years. The had to rip out all the filthy, smelly insulation before starting the job. I kept apologizing because I was clueless about the cat situation but they stayed cheerful and focused on the job. The crew was so good I specifically requested them for our next job. The second house Quality 1st worked on was at the Jersey Shore. It had been pummeled by storms over the years in a location two and a half blocks from the beach. But it was standing strong on a foundation of cinder blocks and shims that were the norm before building codes existed. When we went to sell this hundred-year-old beach house, we were annihilated by the buyer's inspection report with at least twenty pages of necessary corrective measures for the foundation. That sale didn't go through but we knew the work had to be done for the ultimate buyer, and also because all these reports become public information. So we called Quality 1st Basements for the job. I was terrified to have them working in the shallow crawlspace but down they went. They jacked the whole house up to make the necessary corrections. The job was done so professionally and thoroughly that the house sold immediately. That was a huge plus for us. We were grateful for the fantastic job done by Quality 1st. The next house we hired them we asked again for the same crew. My daughter bought another hundred-year-old Bradley Beach house that needed a sump pump. Quality 1st also put in a floor and shored up the beams in the front house basement. The back house will need a french drain eventually when they get the money. This work isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for. The salesmen at Quality 1st aren't pushy. They set out the job costs and leave it up to the customer to move forward or not. But you get good work. Everything they've done for us has been done very well and we are extremely satisfied.

Just to let you know that the work was done yesterday and we could not be happier with the outcome. The 3 workers did an amazing job and could not have been nicer. They finished about 8:00 and left the work area spotless. Without a doubt we would recommend your company. Thanks again.

I just replaced my old sump pump with a new pump. My tech, Ryan Santaliz was fantastic! Even when I said I wanted to replace the whole pump system, he discussed the less costly options to be sure full replacement was what I preferred. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and installed my new pump quickly!

Shoutout to Dylan and his team for their great work in installing my French drain I have a condo in NYC and NYC law prevents workers from doing construction work after 6 pm. My job was much harder due to the concrete flooring, so it took much longer to complete the job than was expected. As 6 pm passed, Dylan was required by the building manager to cease work before the job was completed. Dylan was concerned about finishing the job, so he contacted me early the next morning to set up an appointment for later in the day to complete the installation. His team worked as fast as they could to complete their assigned work for the day. They arrived at my condo around 2. Dylan and his team completed the work by 5:30 so as not to have the situation that occurred the day before repeat itself. Thanks again to Dylan and his team for making sure the job was completed to my satisfaction.

100% Satisfied!  I have a finished basement, but there was a problem with moisture. I hired Quality 1st Basements to install a basement system. They installed a sump pump, and a Sanidry dehumidifier. It worked to completely dried the basement. This is the best thing I've ever done for my home. I now have a finished basement that I can use without worrying about flooding or mold. The technician, Thomas, were very efficient and very polite. They liked their jobs. They were pleasant. If you choose Quality 1st Basements, you will not regret it.

I bought this home and when I went into the basement I noticed water seepage after heavy rains. I initially called the office for an appointment and got set with a free estimate from my salesman Dan McNally. He gave a great presentation and offered an immediate solution to my problem along with a warranty! The installation crew led by Victor did a great job, they completed the entire job in just one day. Thomas who performed the service is very good. He did a thorough job and answered all the questions which I asked in a very professional manner. Frankly much better than prior years professions sent by you to perform the job. I highly recommend him. 

I live in California but own a home in Monmouth Beach N.J. where my crawlspace was affected by Hurricane Sandy. I met with my inspector Dan McNally who was excellent and explained what I need to fix the water problem in my crawlspace. Before contacting Quality 1st Basement Systems I searched them online and felt good about the reviews that I read on Angie's List. I got a sump pump installed as well as a dehumidifier and vapor barrier. My crawlspace is finally dry, the installation crew did a fantastic job!
