This homeowner was interested in a crawlspace encapsulation and reached out to us to get the job done. This crawlspace had a dirt floor and issues with dampness. The customer was primarily concerned about mold becoming an issue. We started this job by removing the old insulation and replacing it with SilverGlo insulated wall panels. These panels are made with completely inorganic materials, and will not absorb moisture or support the growth of mold, rot, or mildew. Next, we installed Cleanspace Drainage Matting and our Cleanspace Liner. These products are designed to work together to transform a “problem” crawl space into a clean, dry, energy-efficient space.

In this partially finished basement, under the Bilco doors, there seemed to be water at the bottom of the stairwell. We installed our TrenchDrain surface drainage system, which will effectively capture surface water that makes its way down the stairwell. By installing this heavy-duty reinforced plastic drainage channel, you'll never have to worry about rust, moisture damage, or upkeep.

In this basement, the homeowner wanted to further waterproof the area and get a sub-floor drain installed to capture any wall leaks. We installed our CleanSpace Wall System around the foundation, which will help reduce the humidity and seal out any cold drifts during the winter months. To keep the moisture down and maintain the humidity, the team installed our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, which will not only stop mold growth but also get rid of musty odors and allergies. 

What looked like a few damp spots turned into a clear sign that this basement needed serious attention. After a thorough inspection, our team identified the sources of water intrusion and designed a tailored waterproofing system to address the problem from every angle.

To capture groundwater before it could reach the basement floor, we installed our patented WaterGuard Drainage System. Our TrenchDrain System also was added to intercept surface water near exterior stairwells and entry points. At the heart of the system, we placed our TripleSafe Sump Pump, known for its triple-layer protection and ability to operate during power outages. To prevent winter-related issues, we included an IceGuard Discharge Line, ensuring water would always have an escape route even if the line froze. Finally, we finished the space with CleanSpace Wall Panels, creating a bright, vapor-proof barrier that keeps moisture out and improves the basement’s appearance.

With these systems working together, the homeowner now enjoys a dry, healthy, and fully protected basement space.

This was a fairly new home with a large, unfinished basement. Even though the basement was dry, the homeowner chose to invest in Total Basement Finishing (TBF) waterproof and mold-resistant products. A good choice since as a home ages, the chances of having problems with moisture and mold increases. We installed TBF Everlast Wall System, Elite Plank flooring and a drop ceiling. In compliance with building codes, an egress window already existed, so we trimmed it out and made it pretty!

We upgraded the customer’s existing sump pump to a Zoeller M-53 with an UltraSump battery backup and installed a SaniDry XP Air System to keep the air fresh and dry.
