When expansion and contraction caused stress on their concrete, cracks emerged on this customer's driveway. They wanted to prevent further decay, the customer sought a reliable solution with Thrasher.

First, we ground out the existing cracks which prepared the concrete for NexusPro. Nexus Pro joint sealant is a solution designed to stop cracks and protect concrete from future damage.  They were at peace knowing that they wouldn't have to worry about more cracking in the future. 

Jason and Kristi G. moved into their Bennington, NE home last year and were getting ready to start a few projects on the home. They wanted to start with the concrete around the pool area, which had significant settlement and had become a trip hazard. Looking for a concrete repair contractor with a lot of experience and a long-standing reputation, they decided to call Thrasher.

System Design Specialist Shane McClintic went out to Jason and Kristi’s home. Upon inspection, he was able to see that the concrete around the pool had become uneven and water was pooling in spots where major settlement had occurred. The crew started by lifting the concrete with PolyLevel, an injectable foam to bring the area back up to the original height. Then applied NexusPro Joint Sealant to seal the joints and cracks, preventing water from moving the concrete again. Jason and Kristi were very pleased with how everything turned out and how the crew took great care of the area.

These homeowners wanted to use their patio more and entertain guests. But all over their patio, the concrete was sinking and settling, causing several tripping hazards. That's why they called Thrasher to fix it. Our very own Chad Williams visited the home to inspect the concrete and propose a solution. He found the control joints on the patio were never sealed. Which had allowed water to compromise the integrity of the soil under the concrete slabs and cause an uneven walking surface.

To fix, we used PolyLevel foam to lift and level. Then we used NexusPro joint sealant to prevent water from entering. The customers were happy with the results and are excited to host get-togethers with NO tripping hazards!

Our customer in Bennington, NE had raised concrete on their sidewalk which was causing a tripping hazard for anyone walking on the path. This homeowner wanted to get this problem solved to create a safer space for them and their guests. They have used Thrasher in the past, so they were confident in our ability to help with this problem. 

After the inspection, our crew found that a tree began to grow underneath causing the sidewalk to raise creating this tripping hazard. The team determined to use PolyLevel foam to help our customer solve their problem. PolyLevel foam fills the voids under the concrete matching the space caused by the tree and giving an even surface for the concrete to settle on. The foam lifts and expands under the concrete giving support to the sidewalk without adding any extra weight to the soil underneath. 

This homeowner now has a safe sidewalk for them and their guests to walk on without the concern of tripping on the uneven surface. 

Driving home one day this homeowner noticed his neighbor getting some work done on his driveway. After the work was completed, he took note of how great it looked and really made his house stand out in the neighborhood. Wanting to get the same results for his home, he decided to call Thrasher and have us come take a look at his driveway. 

When the team came out to the home, they noticed that the joints in this customer's driveway were not sealed, creating small gaps between the concrete slabs and leaving his concrete at risk of future damage. The crew decided it would be best to use NexusPro on the joints of the driveway to protect his concrete and give his home the clean look he was looking for.
