For over a year Mike A. noticed that certain areas of his concrete have settled. This raised a big concern for him on safety of the concrete. He wanted fix and a solution that would also prevent the rest of the concrete from settling. After hearing about our process, he decided to give us a call.
System Design Specialist Ross Fuhr went out to the home. He was able to identify that the front step and two slabs on the driveway had raised a big concern. To lift the concrete, we used PolyLevel and raised the concrete back up. Then we applied NexusPro Joint Sealant to close up the joints and prevent any water from entering again. Mike was impressed with how well the concrete looked!
This homeowner's forever home was starting to settle. She at first noticed that the tiles in her kitchen had been pulling up. After fully replacing them twice, the problem of kept happening. Concerned about her home, she decided to give us a call after her family gave her our name.
We sent System Design Specialist Tom Studer to inspect the interior and exterior issues that happened in this homeowner's house. Tom pinpointed settled foundation areas and proposed a plan to stabilize these areas for the long term. The homeowner was relieved that this could be fixed permanently, so she went forward with the project. Tom and his team got straight to work utilizing a push pier system to stabilize the home. This system pushed the home back to its original level and it will keep it stabilized there.
The homeowner was extremely happy with the clean-up process and how friendly the crews were. Check out her lifted home!
This homeowner wanted to increase his home's curb appeal as well as keep his home safe. He noticed that the retaining wall he has next to his driveway was starting to lean and become unlevel, and this worried him. He had seen some of our commercials as well as heard of our good reputation from his friends, so he decided to give us a call and see what we could do to support his retaining wall.
We sent System Design Specialist Mike Schmidt to inspect the retaining wall and determine what was causing to to lean. Mike found that the retaining wall was deflecting because of hydrostatic pressure pushing against the wall for many years. Although the situation seemed difficult to fix to the homeowner, Mike explained how the wall deflection could be solved using GeoLock Anchors that will help to straighten it overtime. The homeowner liked this solution so much, that he had one of our installation crews come out the following weekend to secure his retaining wall. Check out the new wall anchors!
This customer had weak floor joists and beams in their crawl space. This can cause the floor above to sink, slop, or sag. To fix this issue, our team installed our SmartJack system, which is steel columns that are secured to the beams or joists in the crawl space. This permanently lifts and stabilizes the pace. SmartJacks allow for adjustment and are custom-fit for every project!
Marvin and Mary C. were tired of always having water intrusion in their basement. They had spent a significant amount of time getting this fixed, but no solution had worked. They wanted a permanent solution that would last, as previous customers Marvin and Mary, decided to call Thrasher.
We sent System Design Specialist Brandon Brown out to their home. He has able to see that there was extreme cracking and wall failure with over 3 inches of deflection in the middle of one of the walls. Hydrostatic pressure and expensive soil had caused a freeze line crack. The crew installed Geo-Lock anchors to stabilize the walls. Marvin and Mary were thrilled to know their walls would be stable now and appreciated the work the crew put into installed the Geo-Lock Anchors.
