This homeowner noticed extreme cracks forming behind their drywall. He knew that Thrasher had installed waterproofing systems before he bought the house eight years ago, so he called us to come out and perform an inspection. 

Chuck Kain visited the home to assess the problem. He found that the south wall had huge cracks and deterioration of mortar joints. The cracks were very apparent on the exterior but much, much worse inside. 

To fix this issue, we extended the waterproofing by adding new sump pumps. To address the wall failure, we installed wall support and our EverBrace system on the south wall. 

The homeowner loved the finished look and was super excited to start finishing his basement and not have to worry about these issues again.

Patricia N. is a proud homeowner in Lincoln, NE and has plans in place of this being here forever home. During the annual maintenance, our team always performs a thorough inspection to make sure small problems aren’t going unnoticed, and therefore turning into bigger problems. Upon the inspection, System Design Specialist Wes Marshall noticed two basement walls showing signs of stage-two failure, caused by the soil surrounding the foundation. Fortunately, the problem was spotted in its early stage and Thrasher could provide a solution before it were to get much worse.  Wes Marshall and his team arrived in Lincoln, NE to begin the project. Patricia opted to have them install our PowerBrace Support System to permanently stop any movement inward from the walls and reverse the damage over time. PowerBrace is a galvanized steel beam that runs the full height of the foundation and then is fastened to the concrete basement floor. It’s then attached to the floor joist using one of our brackets to give it the permanent security it needs. All installation is done internally and saves Patricia the stress of any external excavation.

Kevin is a homeowner in Hickman, NE, that needed some foundation repair. Service Technician Brandon Brown went out to the home and was able to identify that due to hydrostatic pressure, expanding and freezing soil, the exterior wing walls broke and tipped over. The crew installed anchors and covers to stabilize the walls. Kevin was very pleased with the final look and the hard work the crew put into the project.

Mike's been remodeling his home and wants to do it right. It's important to him to preserve their forever home the best he can, and he knows protecting the foundation is key. Mike's worked with Thrasher in the past, so he knew exactly who to call. System Design Specialist, Jesse White, went out to Mike's home to see what was going on. 

Upon inspection, we found Mike's foundation walls were failing and had moved enough to see an impact on the upper level of the home. To fix this issue, we installed PowerBrace on the walls for extra support. Our PowerBrace system involves galvanized I-beams that run the full height of your foundation walls and is securely fastened to the concrete basement floor.

Mike was very happy with the results.
