Suzanne S. owned a commercial property in Saint Louis, MO that had a basement that had major water leakages. Water came in through the stone foundation walls and wall joints and flooded the basement regularly to the point that it really couldn’t be a useful space so she called Woods Basement Systems. Woods found the best solution would be a basement waterproofing system.

Woods installed the WaterGuard drainage system under the cement floors along the perimeter of the basement. WaterGuard is situated on top of the concrete footing of the home so it won’t become clogged with silt and plant debris like other drainage systems. It captures water from the joint where the foundation floors and walls meet, the area most susceptible to leaks, and guides it to the sump pump for removal.

A home in Saint Louis, Missouri, had some water seepage issues that needed to be addressed. The homeowners already had a sump pump but there was water seepage present that wasn't able to get to it. Woods came out and installed the WaterGuard System to direct the water to the sump pump. This system consists of specially designed piping that is installed directly into the floor. This is to avoid clogging from dirt or other debris. With this WaterGuard in place, the water will have a way to get to the sump pump for removal, and the basement will stay dry!

With a new TripleSafe sump pump installed inside the basement, IceGuard was then attached to discharge lines outside of the St Louis home. This allows for maintaining water flow from the basement in the event of discharge line failure (due to clogs or frozen pipes).
