Water damaged had developed in this St. Louis, MO basement due to frequent water leaks. For the ultimate repair, Team Woods installed a WaterGuard drainage system along with a new TwinPack sump pump system. Together these two products will collect and discard of all water that leaks inside.
This home in Kirkland, MO. had several cracks in the foundation walls that would leak. These cracks were patched and the water that would otherwise leak into the basement was instead directed into small wells beneath the floor.
Rather than allow these wells to fill up and possibly leak, Miguel O. and his crew installed tubing beneath the floor that would carry the water from the cracks in the wall straight to the sump pump. With this system installed, any water that would leak into the basement will instead be drained into the sump pump where it can be removed from the home.
Once the tubing is in place, the trench is filled with clean stone that will prevent the tube from being clogged with mud. Finally, the trench is covered again with concrete, making the basement floor seamless once again. After everything is done the home will be protected from leaks through the walls without any unsightly tubing or the risk of overfilling drywells near the cracks.
In Saint Louis, Missouri homeowner Nick L. wanted to do something about the basement windows outside of his home. Like many homes, the window was below the ground outside of his home and there was a well formed around it. Anytime it rained, the well would fill up with water and begin leaking through the window into his basement. Unsure of how to fix his problem, he decided to call Woods Basement Systems to see if they had a solution for him.
Luckily, we had the perfect solution, our SunHouse Well and Cover. Our well would be installed in place of the existing rusted one to keep the water away from the foundation, as well as installing a cover on top to keep water from pooling at the bottom. Now, Nick is happy in knowing his basement will be more secure thanks to Woods Basement Systems.
