This commercial building in Kahnawake had water and air coming in from a crack in the wall. To solve this issue affecting the daily business activities of this owner, we injected FlexiSpan and Polyurethane crack injection to fix the crack and installed a CleanSpace membrane to block humidity and water vapor. 

What are the characteristics of an efficient interior drainage system?

- It is designed not to clog and to be positioned on the top of the soil.

- It has a 3/8 inch built-in space between the floor and the wall, to drain infiltrations from the wall.

-It does not depend on a filter cloth.

- It has a large drain outlet for the pump

- Do not cause structural damage to the foundation.

Thus, this system is connected to an airtight sump pump whose cover and lid serve as drains that allow the water to be evacuated and prevent the vapors from disengaging and humidifying the air.

The pump is therefore protected and its efficiency is optimized. The alarm system also lets you know if the volume of water exceeds the minimum level that would start the pump. Thus, in the case of a problem, you will be notified before damage occurs and you will be protected by the battery pump system that will protect your basement in the event of a breakdown.

In the before photo, you'll see a dark, earthen crawl space in a house built in 1940s on precarious fieldstone, pointing to the struggle against moisture and frost. We are happy to have installed the TripleSafe in Vimont, Laval. Sump pump systems get rids of water before it seeps into your and causes flooding and damage. All the water intercepted is evacuated far from the house. The TripleSafe system gives you three times more protection thanks to its three pumps. The first allows pumping water under normal conditions. The second embarks when the flow and/or the volume of water are too fast. The last is a pump that works thanks to a self-recharging battery. This pump will save your basement if a storm or other reason causes a power failure.

Problem: The client who lives in Lachine had a crack visible from the outside and he suspected that it was inside as well.

Solution: We injected the crack and added the Flexispan to give a nice finish. Also, we installed CarbonArmor to stabilize the foundation.
