Sandra from Red Bank, NJ had a nasty, damp crawl space with a lot of moisture. Senior Design Specialist, Ken Peare, recommended SilveGlo and CleanSpace to keep the Crawl space warm in the winter time and too prevent water leakage. Our team also installed two vent covers to prevent humidity and cold drafts from passing through the crawl space vents and a Crawl Space Dehumidifier Sedona to prevent musty odors and moisture.  

A family in Red Bank, NJ was devastated when they saw that their finished basement had flooded. The drywall was soaked and so were the floors. Realizing that they needed to do something to fix their problem, they contacted Quality 1st Basements. System Design Specialist, Javier Romero, went out to inspect the home. Javier suggested that they completely waterproof the entire perimeter of the basement. In addition to waterproofing, he advised the homeowners to remove the drywall that had absorbed water. By removing the drywall and replacing the wall with a half wall EverLast Paneling System, they could be sure that there would be no mold growth in the basement. The EverLast Wall Panels are made of inorganic materials that will not be affected by moisture. By having the EverLast Wall Panels installed, the homeowners knew that in the event of a plumbing leak, their walls would not be affected. The walls brightened up the basement and made the space look finished again. 

Porous cement block basement walls can pull moisture and water from the ground, causing paint to peel and flake. Jay Alvarez, Quality 1st Basements Design Specialist, wanted the customer to enjoy brighter, cleaner walls. WaterGuard Drainage System was installed by foreman Esau Aquino and his crew to control any water intrusion and CleanSpace Walling System was installed over the block walls to additionally reduce moisture in the basement and to provide a fresher look.

Moisture and humidity can cause the paint on the cement block walls to peel and flake away as well as cause odors. Basement Design Specialist Jay Alvarez set this customer up for success by proposing the TripleSafe Sump Pump System and the highly-efficient SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and air filtration system to remove moisture from the air and keep the humidity levels below 50%, reducing the chance for mold to grow and thereby eliminating odors. 

Our customer in Red Bank, NJ had an older crawlspace with different sections.  Design specialist JC Gibriano recommended CleanSpace for the crawlspace encapsulation as well as SilverGlow for insulation.  The customer was very happy with the extra storage space!
