At this property, water was leaking through the front wall of the house and into the living area. We had our team roll back the carpet, trim the drywall and studs on the damaged area to get to the foundation wall. Once that was done, the team installed our WaterGuard sub-flooring drainage system with a port to catch any type of leak that comes through the wall or vapor moisture. We also installed our CleanSpace Vapor barrier under the wall studs, which is designed to capture the wall leaks that travel down to the floor drain, which leads to the sump pump system.
In Cockeysville, MD, a homeowner was dealing with persistent water seepage around their basement window, which created a damp, uncomfortable, and uninviting space. Concerned about the potential for long-term damage and mold growth, they reached out to Quality 1st Basement Systems for a lasting solution. After a thorough inspection, our team identified the source of the problem and developed a customized waterproofing plan designed to address the specific issues affecting the home.
Our solution included the installation of our patented WaterGuard Drainage System to capture water at the foundation's perimeter, CleanSpace Wall Panels to seal out moisture and improve the basement’s appearance, and our WellDuct System to redirect water from the window well into the drainage system. To further enhance safety and natural lighting, we installed our RockWell Egress Window. This dynamic approach eliminated further moisture-related concerns and transformed the basement into a dry, healthy, and stable environment the homeowner could finally enjoy with complete confidence!
For this crawl space job, we did a Mold X 2 Treatment. Mold X2 is a highly effective cleaner for contaminated surfaces such as wood and masonry. While Mold X2 treatments eliminate mold, it does not prevent it from growing back unless the moisture is controlled. With that being said, we had to control the moisture in the crawlspace by installing a CleanSpace Vapor barrier and Drainage Matting, which the matting not only creates a drainage space under the Cleanspace, but also acts as a thermal break, giving some insulation value. And then to keep the crawl space insulated, we installed SilverGlo, which features a radiant barrier that reflects heat back into your crawl space.
This homeowner was in dire need of help with his damp, moldy crawlspace. He called us for assistance and we transformed this space for him. We started with regrading to direct water seepage towards the sump pump. Next, we took care of a mold issue using our Mold-X2 Cleaner and Botanical. Then we installed SilverGlo insulated wall panels along with our CleanSpace liner and drainage matting for a total crawlspace encapsulation system. The CleanSpace system acts as an effective moisture and vapor barrier while providing a bright, stain-resistant finish that never needs repainting or maintenance.
This project in Severn, Maryland was for 4 window replacements. Currently, the customer just had 4 standard cut outs for windows, but there weren't actually any windows, just metal frames with foam wedged in the opening. We came out and installed 4 of our EverLast Windows along with 2 Sunhouse Wells with Dome covers.
