This customer was looking for help rescuing his damp, moldy crawlspace. We started the transformation by removing all of the old insulation. We installed a WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system and our SuperSump sump pump to carry away any water intrusion. Then we went in and treated the entire area for mold with our Mold X2 cleaner and botanical. We replaced the old insulation with SilverGlo insulated panels and spray foam and then lined the entire area with our Cleanspace drainage matting and Cleanspace vapor barrier.

We recently assisted a homeowner in Galena, MD, who had been battling persistent water seepage in their basement every time there was heavy rainfall, leading to dampness, musty odors, and concerns about mold growth. Despite various personal attempts to address the issue, including using temporary sealants, the water continued to infiltrate through the foundation, leaving the basement unusable. Frustrated and seeking a permanent solution, the homeowner contacted Quality 1st for professional help.

Our team quickly assessed the situation and recommended the installation of our patented WaterGuard Drainage System to capture and redirect water away from the foundation, along with our TripleSafe Sump Pump to efficiently pump out any water collected. After the installation was complete, the homeowner’s basement was transformed into a dry, healthy space, free from water seepage and the risks of further flooding, providing long-term protection against moisture damage!

This customer was having issues with mold in the basement due to water entering the basement whenever it would rain. 

We went out to the property and did some Mold X 2 treatment on the areas that had mold, then installed Waterguard around the full perimeter of the basement, we installed a SuperSump with Battery Backup and a SaniDry Dehumidifier.

Basement Systems was contacted due to water coming through the concrete floor in the basement and staying mostly around the perimeter of the floor. Our team dug around the perimeter for the installation of our WaterGuard sub-floor drainage that will safely capture floor leakage. Alongside the walls, we installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, which captures any wall leaks. Then, the water gets carried through the sub-floor drain to the sump system. This system will prevent moisture and turn a dirty, damp space into a clean, livable area. 

This Thorndale PA customer reached out to Basement Systems USA because they were in the market for a new sump pump with a battery backup. We came out to his home and upgraded him to a SuperSump with an UltraSump Battery Backup. The SuperSump quietly pumps 2,650 gallons per hour and in case of a power outage, the UltraSump will turn on automatically and will alarm to tell you you are running on the backup. The UltraSump will pump 12,000 total gallons out on a new, fully charged power pack.
