This homeowner called us regarding water intrusion from the basement cement walls and mold started to grow in the area. In order to prevent further water damage to the cellar, we installed our WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system that will capture any type of wall leakage before it hits the floor. This drainage channel is hidden beneath a layer of concrete that flows down and connects to the sump pump system. By installing the WaterGuard system, you will have the certainty of having a dry basement all the time, which will provide peace of mind.

In Elkton, this owner reached out to Basement Systems to install a drain at the bottom of the stairwell entering into the home. We dug out part of the foundation to install our TrenchDrain and tied it into the existing drain tile that runs along under the foundation. Our TrenchDrain is reinforced plastic that won't crack and effectively captures any surface water on the stairway and doorway.

In this dirt-floor crawl space, a plastic covering was placed over the dirt and the homeowners were experiencing high humidity in the upstairs living space. The Basement System team cleaned out the entire crawl space and installed our CleanSpace Vapor barrier on the contracted walls along with the bottom of piers. We also installed our high-efficiency SilverGlo insulated wall panels around the perimeter that have a radiant heat barrier and hold back any moisture or humidity. 

In this partially finished basement, the owner wanted to finish the walls and officially close it up. Our team went out to install our EverLast Wall Restoration, which is an inorganic material that is mold-resistant and replaces the damaged drywall. In this crawl space, the homeowner had some work in the space and laid down plastic to help with the rise in moisture. The team installed our CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system and placed a drainage matting that lies beneath the CleanSpace liner. After the removal of all debris, we also wrapped the bottom of each pier with the liner, which will fully seal the crawl space from any moisture seeping in. We also placed our SaniDry Sedona, which doesn't require any emptying and will keep your moisture levels down to almost nothing, protecting your home from mold growth and dust mites.
