This homeowner was tired of her dogs sneaking under the walkway next to their home. She knew that we are a reputable company serving her area, and she really liked what solutions we had to offer, so she decided to give us a call. We sent System Design Specialist Mike Schmidt to inspect the concrete walkway in order to determine what happened to the walkway and design a solution to fix the problem. Mike found that there was a large settlement problem with the walkway and that huge voids had formed between the concrete and the soil. This problem was partially due to rain and washout of the soil, but the dogs started making it worse when they dug under the soil. After reviewing the problem, Mike designed a solution to lift and level the walkway, then seal the concrete from having problems again, and the homeowner loved the sound of that. One of our installation teams came out to this home and utilized PolyLevel foam and NexuPro sealant to lift, level, and seal the concrete walkway. These homeowners were having many projects done around their home and they wanted their front entrance to be one of them. Mike found that the entire walkway had settled from the driveway to the front porch due to soil erosion creating small voids underneath the concrete.
