To begin the project, System Design Specialist Robert Griffin arrived in Marion to perform a thorough inspection on the wet basement to develop possible solutions. This is an older home, and it was determined that the point of entry for the water was near the brick fireplace and high moisture content in the south wall. The team began waterproofing the basement by installing our WaterGuard drainage system around the full perimeter. Next, CleanSpace waterproof barrier was applied to all the walls to prevent any moisture or water vapor from entering the space.
