Danny wanted to make renovations to his permanent home, but he knew he needed to address his wet basement before starting any of that. He knew of Thrasher and had heard about their products, trainings, and professionalism. He decided to call Thrasher and shortly after one of our System Design Specialists, Nate Franson, went out to meet with him. After the inspection, Nate explained to Danny how one of his walls had started to lean in a little, this was causing water to find its way into the basement from the cracks and joints. Nate proposed that Thrasher install wall anchors to stabilize his wall and help straighten it over time, as well as our CleanSpace and WaterGuard system. CleanSpace is what looks like a plastic sheet on the wall. It is a barrier between the wet wall and the basement, keeping the basement dry. The water will trickle down the inside of the CleanSpace and into the WaterGuard. The WaterGuard is our drainage channel that will direct the water into a sump pump and out of the home. Danny loved this idea, and we got started! Immediately after our installation, there was a heavy rainfall. Danny and his wife woke up in the middle of the night and ran to the basement. With a sigh of relief, they heard our systems working! They heard the water running through the systems, keeping the basement completely dry. There is no doubt that Danny's big renovation plans will go off without a hitch thanks to his dry basement! 

In Gypsum, KS, these homeowners recently purchased a home where the water table is notoriously high, and they wanted peace of mind that their basement would stay dry year-round to begin to finish it. System Design Specialist Jon Graves arrived at the home in Gypsum, KS, and performed a full inspection. After hearing about our waterproofing solutions, the customer opted to have our waterproofing system installed around the basement’s perimeter. This system consists of our WaterGuard interior drainage system, CleanSpace waterproof barrier, and a TripleSafe sump pump to extract the water from the home.

Service Technician Daniel Hilkemann went out to their home. The home lacked a dehumidifier, and we installed a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to reduce the relative humidity in the crawl space and purify the air.  Daniel and Sharon were glad to have a peace of mind in knowing the crawl space would remain mold free and the new dehumidifier would keep the air clean.

Stephanie S. is a homeowner in Andover, KS, and was becoming increasingly more frustrated with the water issues in her basement. She had contacted multiple companies for solutions, but none of them were effective or solved the problem. To begin the waterproofing project, our System Design Specialist Brad Painchaud arrived at the home in Andover and performed a full inspection. After discussing possible solutions, Stephanie opted to have Thrasher install our WaterGuard basement drainage system and TripleSafe sump pump to replace the old one. WaterGuard is an interior installation and doesn’t require any excavation of the outside soil. It’s designed to capture the water at the cold joints in the foundation of the home and carry it to the sump pump to be released outside.

Stephanie was thrilled with our waterproofing solutions and to finally have the confidence she needed in her home. After the first few rainstorms and no water issues in the basement, she was thankful that she could rely on Thrasher for a permanent solution.
