Foundation Repair in Claflin, KS

Homeowner Paul was remodeling his home to prepare it. He knew his son was going to move in or he was potentially going to sell. Either way, he wanted to make sure his foundation wall was fixed prior to the remodel. The problem Paul was facing was his wall against his crawlspace was failing. So he called up Thrasher. He knew Thrasher would complete the repair the right way and he would not have to worry about it after. We sent System Design Specialist Clint Gerber out to Paul's home to do an inspection and find the best solution. To resolve Paul's issue, we decided to use Everbrace, Powerbrace, and Geolock Anchors. The space within the basement area was very limited, so each product had to be strategically placed to allow Paul to continue using the basement as a basement. Paul was very happy with the outcome and glad he doesn't have to worry anymore about his foundation walls!

Settling Foundation in Broken Bow, NE

Mike and his wife really wanted to remodel their basement. When they started demo, they realized their foundation was settling. They knew that if they continued to invest in their remodel the settlement issue would just end up damaging all of their hard work. They had to fix the settlement issue first.

When they called us with their problem, we sent out Daniel Hilkermann to inspect. We found that Mike's home was settling on the north side, pretty substantially. He had bad cracks along the exterior that were affecting the drywall inside. To fix the solution, we installed our Model 288 Push Pier System. The Push Pier System utilizes high-strength round steel tube sections and a load transfer bracket to stabilize and lift settling foundations.

Mike is a shop teacher and actually brought his students out to see the installation of the piers! Everyone was super excited to see our process and gain knowledge of something most people aren't familiar with. Mike got an opportunity to teach his students and fix his settling foundation in one!

Foundation Repair in Broken Bow, NE

This homeowner in Broken Bow, NE had a foundation wall caving in and water getting into the basement of their home. They didn't want the rest of the house to be damaged because of the lack of support on the foundation.

Our crew came into the house and noticed sagging floors, causing the wall to fail and allowing water to leak in through the wall and floor. Since the wall was a total failure we used our Everbrace system to support the wall, this system transfers the load from the failing structure to the new support panels. We then added a TripleSafe Sump Pump, to be able to flow and drain the water leaking into the basement out away from the foundation of the home.

This customer and his wife have lived in their home for 30 years now. At some point, they hope to sell their home and move out of the state. They want to ensure that their basement wall does not cave in to ensure their property value. This clay brick home is over 100 years old and hydrostatic pressure over all of those years caused the wall to bow. We installed our EverBrace system to stabilize the wall and ensure that it won't cave in.
