SmartJacks are zinc-coated steel posts that are protected so they do not rust like lally columns. We installed Spray Foam insulation on the rim joists, which gives an air tight seal, stops water from coming in, and is also mold resistant. It can better fill all the gaps and nooks and crannies than fiberglass, and will not sag away over time.
