Our team visited Cedar Rapids, IA to tackle a homeowner's large driveway issue. The area around the central drain had greatly settled, leaving unsightly gaps and a tripping hazard. Using the PolyLevel system, we lifted and stabilized the sunken concrete slab by injecting high-strength foam beneath it. Notice in the after photo, all signs of mismatched concrete are gone thanks to our precise lifting technique. To protect it further, we sealed the joints using NexusPro, ensuring lasting durability and appearance.

Got a sinking feeling about your concrete? As you can see in the Cedar Rapids before photo, this homeowner’s walkway had a serious case of the droops. Thankfully, uneven steps aren't our style.
Our System Design Specialist, Shawn Conaway, assessed the site and mapped out the perfect restoration plan. Then, Foreman Justin Maddox and his crew member, Tanner, brought in the heavy lifters: PolyLevel and NexusPro.
The team used PolyLevel to gently lift the slabs back into perfect alignment, while NexusPro joined forces to seal and protect, keeping those pesky cracks from reopening all year round. We take pride in turning those stressed-out sighs into satisfied smiles, making your concrete woes a thing of the past!
A homeowner in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, faced a tilted front sidewalk that was actively directing surface water runoff straight beneath their porch deck, putting both the porch structure and home foundation at risk of severe water damage. Left unchecked, the pooling water threatened to wash away the supporting subgrade soil and compromise the long-term structural integrity of the home.
To eliminate the hazard without invasive concrete demolition, System Design Specialist Tim Rollet evaluated the site and designed a targeted repair strategy using PolyLevel® Concrete Leveling through MidAmerica Basement Systems.
Foreman Justin Maddox and crew member Devin S. executed the restoration with precision. The team strategically drilled pea-sized injection ports through the tilted sidewalk slabs and injected high-strength PolyLevel polyurethane foam into the underlying subbase. As the geopolymer expanded, it filled subterranean voids, compacted loose supporting soil, and lifted the sunken concrete back to a stable, level plane, properly redirecting water flow away from the porch and foundation. The crew patched the injection holes, leaving behind a safe, fully stabilized sidewalk engineered to protect the property for years to come.
