Sheila M. of Bettendorf is a returning customer at MidAmerica Basement Systems. She previously had a waterproofing system installed and had heard of all the other services we provided. She was having issues with her driveway being very uneven. When she saw the service of PolyLevel, she knew should could count on us to help her once again. Crew members injected PolyLevel to her driveway, so not only the appearance would be better, but to provide a safe place to walk. With the injection of PolyLevel, Shelia will never have to worry about it washing out from underneath the slabs, but instead, providing a long-lasting, stable environment.

Homeowners Greg and Dottie were noticing their walkway was sinking and pulling away from the porch, creating a 2-inch unlevel and unpleasant appearance. They recalled that MidAmerica Basement Systems had an alternative to mudjacking called, PolyLevel. PolyLevel is a foam that is injected under the concrete slab that precisely lifts and raises the area back to a level state. Greg and Dottie no longer have a sinking, sloping walkway, but a smooth transition from walkway to porch.

Over the years, the soil under concrete begins to settle, shift, and wash away, causing stress on the concrete slabs. This stress leads to sloping, uneven, and potentially cracking of the slabs. MidAmerica Basement Systems were called to have the driveway repaired before cracks could start forming. PolyLevel was injected to fill the voids underneath the concrete slabs, to precisely lift and level the driveway and prevent the slabs from cracking. NexusPro Joint Sealant was then applied to the cracks to prevent water from seeping down between the slabs and wash out the soil that was left. Now the driveway is level and can endure many more years to come without the issue of settling and/or washouts of soil.

Andrew was concerned about the large tripping hazards that had become apparent from the sunken sidewalk. He reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have his issue addressed. Design specialist, Cole, offered the injection technology of PolyLevel. PolyLevel, similar to mudjacking, fills voids, and expands to lift the concrete providing a stable and level sidewalk. Unlike mudjacking, PolyLevel uses precise and accurate lifts, ensuring the void is filled, and over- or under-lifting is prevented. Applying NexusPro Joint Sealant allows for a seal to prevent future soil washouts. Andrew now has a sidewalk that is as good as new without the hassle of pouring new concrete.

Sherman was concerned about his unlevel driveway and the look if gave his home. He did not want to re-pour the driveway because the expense and mudjacking took too long to allow for access to the garage. Mac from MidAmerica Basement System offered him the solution of PolyLevel. PolyLevel is high-density polymer material that uses techniques like mudjacking. Small holes are drilled into the concrete to have in PolyLevel injected and lift the slab. When the material is injected, the voids are filled and stabilize the slabs and expand to lift the concrete to its original position. The quick cure time allows for access to the driveway and garage within 5 minutes of application. Now Sherman has a leveled driveway once again.
