In East Moline, IL, this homeowner faced a crawl space that had occasional leaks, causing a persistent, unpleasant odor throughout the home. We addressed this with our high-quality solutions. As seen in the after photo we installed CleanSpace, complete with Drainage Matting and a SmartDrain, to encapsulate the area. This process not only protects the area but also eliminates the smell because the heavy-duty CleanSpace vapor barrier completely blocks moisture from evaporating out of the soil and foundation. To handle any trapped water, we laid down CleanSpace® Drainage Matting to efficiently direct excess moisture toward the high-performance SmartSump™ sump pump system before adding a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier for industry-leading humidity management and odor reduction. As the after photo shows, the crawl space is now a bright, dry, and fully protected area, successfully enhancing whole-home comfort, improving indoor air quality, and safeguarding the entire structural integrity of the home.

The dirt and brick flooring of this 125 year old basement was damp and soggy from erosion over time. To capitalize on the space and keep the interior dry, design specialist Fred Romane recommended full encapsulation. It looks amazing!
