Joe W. of Hillsboro, Missouri discovered that his basement was collecting water after heavy rain showers. He did not want to have to clean up a mess after each storm, so he called Woods Basement Systems.

Design specialist Chris T. assessed the situation and decided that installing a full waterproofing system would be the best option. Foreman William H. then traveled to the home to get the installment started.

The WaterGuard drainage system, pictured above, was one of the components installed. It was placed above the footing of the basement and was then covered with concrete. The WaterGuard drainage system collects and drains any water coming up from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement floor. 

Joe W. is very happy that he no longer has to worry about any water seeping up through his basement floor. He now has a dry and waterproof basement.

In Hillsboro, Missouri Michelle and Steve K. were looking to improve the look of their basement window. Before they called Woods Basement Systems, the window of their basement was uncovered, making the area outside the window covered in debris, rain, and gutter overflow water. Water was leaking near the wall and floor joint of a basement in Hillsboro, MO, so the WaterGuard System was installed. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and will drain it toward the sump pump system. This system has a design that will drain any wall seepage without allowing dirt and debris from the floor to enter and clog the pipes. This basement will remain dry and clean for years to come!

A basement in Hillsboro, MO, was leaking and in need of a strong waterproofing system. This led the homeowner to give Woods a call. To begin solving this issue, WaterGuard™ was used to collect the water that entered the basement and direct it to the nearest sump pump. This system won't get clogged because it sits horizontally on top of the soil. Next, a sump pump was used to discharge the water out of the basement. This sump pump has a battery back-up generator to ensure the pump keeps working, even during a power outage. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement will remain dry. 

Justin V. was concerned about water getting into his basement through cracks in the walls and causing damage. To solve this issue, Woods had the WaterGuard System installed. These pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it towards the TripleSafe Sump System, which was also installed to pump the water away from the house. Next, a CleanSpace Wall System was installed. This will stop water vapor from permeating the walls and will drain the wall leaks. Lastly, the PowerBrace System was put in to help permanently stabilize the foundation. These will also straighten the walls back to their original position and close the cracks to prevent water leakage. Justin can now have peace of mind knowing that the basement will stay dry and clean for years to come!
