Fabien D. of Marthasville, MO had long vertical cracks that spanned his foundation walls. He’d tried patching the cracks before but new ones formed and were allowing water to get in and damage his drywall so he called Woods Basements Systems. Woods recommended installing Geo-Lock Wall Anchors alongside a waterproofing system.

Woods installed Geo-Lock Wall Anchors along the cracked walls. Geo-Lock Wall Anchors counteract the external soil pressure that damages walls. They permanently stabilize walls in place by connecting earth anchors embedded in the yard to wall plates on the inside of the walls using galvanized steel anchor rods. They can also straight walls over time by tightening them during dry periods.

Poured concrete foundation will crack.  Repairing it with Flexispan® allows for seasonal movement, which is common with all foundations.  Unlike epoxy crack repair, our crack repair system will allow for slight wall movement and not cause secondary wall cracks.  Also, we seal the entire crack all the way to the top of the footing hidden by the basement floor. In addition to WaterGuard, the TripleSafe sump pump system was installed to keep the water out of the basement. TripleSafe includes a main pump, backup pump and a battery-powered pump to ensure Karrie's basement will stay dry.
