In Glasgow, Missouri homeowner Ron W. wanted his basement waterproofed. For years, he had been having problems with rainwater entering her basement where the floor meets the wall. After it would rain or storm, he would have to go down to the basement to check for water and clean it up. Tired of the constant maintenance they were doing in his basement, he decided to call Woods Basement Systems to see what we could do to help.
We sent out our foreman Juan Hernandez and his team to install our waterproofing system, WaterGuard. WaterGuard can be installed in just one or two days, and does no damage to the inside or outside of the home. It is installed around the perimeter of the basement, on-top of the footing.
Saint Louis, Missouri homeowners Jan and Shane B. had a flooded basement. They made a call to Woods Basement Systems to install a solution to keep the basement dry. Our foreman Greg H. and his team had the perfect solution using some of our patented waterproofing products. WaterGuard and TripleSafe were installed in the basement, collecting rainwater before it could reach the floor or cause further damage. Now, Jan and Shane are happy knowing their basement would be dry year-round.
A foundation was cracking in Hermann, MO, and water was leaking out of it. To solve this issue, the PowerBrace System was first installed. This system is designed to permanently stabilize a home’s foundation. It will support the basement walls and straighten them over time. Next, the CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls and drain any leaks down to the WaterGuard System. This perimeter drainage system will catch wall seepage and drain it toward the sump pump to be pumped out of the house. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain stable and dry for years to come!
A representative from the First Baptist Church contacted Woods Basement Systems to waterproof the church's basement. This before image shows the wet Sunday School and the after shows the process of installing WaterGuard drains to the footing of the wall. Thanks to WaterGuard, the First Baptist Church of Steelville, Missouri is now safe and dry.
