The original roof on this Thomaston, CT home was aged, discolored, and experiencing streaking caused by trapped moisture, which can cause further damage and deterioration if not addressed. The new shingles give the home a much cleaner, more refreshed look, while better protecting the home.

This beautiful home had severe moss and algae overgrowth. This allowed water to seep through the shingles and absorb into the decking layer, which caused the plywood layer to rot away. Once we ripped up the old shingles we tore up the rotten underlayment and replaced it. The homeowner choose IKO Dynasty Granite Black Shingles which matched perfectly with their olive siding.
