Michael in Wappingers Falls, NY, reached out after noticing water stains forming on the ceiling in his main bedroom. With the roof already around 25 years old, it was a clear sign that it was time to move forward with a replacement.

Our team handled a full roof replacement on both the home and the garage. Once we removed the existing shingles, we found that the back half of the house needed all new plywood, which we replaced to ensure a solid foundation for the new system.

To help improve airflow and prevent moisture buildup, we also added three new bath vents, two along the back of the main home and one on the section connecting to the garage. Throughout the project, materials and the dumpster were staged in the driveway to keep everything organized and efficient for the crew.

Richard in Katonah reached out as his roof was nearing 25 years old and starting to show its age. One of his main concerns was a leaking skylight that he wanted completely removed to avoid ongoing water issues.

During the evaluation, we noted the home had four gable areas, two with exposed gable vents and two tied into cathedral ceilings on the second floor. We recommended closing off the gable vents and updating the ventilation system for better overall performance, but Richard chose to keep the existing setup.

We moved forward with a full roof replacement, removing the old system and installing a new one using SealoronXT Ice & Water Shield in critical areas, VeloraONE Roof Underlayment across the roof deck, and SealoronXT Deck Tape to seal the plywood seams and help prevent moisture intrusion.

The new roof was finished with IKO Dynasty shingles in Shadow Brown. The white trim and white drip edge give it a clean, sharp contrast, while the chimney flashing was done in brown to match the shingles and tie everything together.

With the skylight removed and a full roofing system in place, Richard’s home is now better protected and set up for long-term performance.
