This homeowner in Coventry, RI reached out to use about replacing their 26-year-old roof. We worked with this homeowner previously to add our RainDrop Gutter Guards on their home, and wanted to work with us again when they noticed they had shingles missing and felt they needed  to get their roof inspected. After they received their free estimate and inspection with our Sales Inspector, they wanted to work with us again to put install a full Klaus Roofing System on their home. What goes into Putting a Klaus on Your House? We first replaced any damaged plywood decking and laid down our Klaus Larsen Roofing SealoronXT Ice & Water self-sealing membrane to create a moisture barrier between the decking and the shingles. For even more protection, we installed our own Velora One Underlayment, a high performance synthetic underlayment designed to protect the home in even the most severe weather. For new asphalt shingles, we installed IKO Dynasty Architectural Shingles, in the color Frostone Grey chosen by the homeowner, featuring a 1-1/4" nailing area made with a tough reinforcing woven band for incredible nail-holding power to protect the home against Mother Nature's fury. Roy in Coventry, RI, reached out looking to move quickly on a roofing project after concerns developed around the back side of his garage roof. As part of the project, we also built a custom cricket behind the chimney to help improve water flow and prevent water from collecting in that area during heavy rain and snow.
