Albert in East Hampton, CT was ready to replace his aging 26-year-old roof and wanted something durable and low maintenance. He reached out to Klaus Larsen Roofing for expert help with a full roof replacement. After meeting with one of our Project Consultants, we developed a plan for Albert’s home. Our crew removed the old shingles and inspected the roof deck, making sure it was solid and ready for a new system. We installed SealoronXT Deck Tape between each plywood seam, followed by SealoronXT Ice & Water Shield in vulnerable areas, and VeloraONE Roof Underlayment across the roof deck. To complete the project, we installed IKO Dynasty shingles in the color Granite Black. Now Albert’s home has a clean, updated look and a roofing system built to last for decades. These owners came to the 2017 Spring HBRA and visited Klaus Larsen's booth and got a free and thorough estimate. They were looking for a permanent solution for their home because they already had 2 layers on the house and wanted this to be the last time dealing with the roof.

This ranch-style home located in Vernon, CT was in desperate need of a new roofing system. The old roof was outdated and needed to be torn off and replaced. We first stripped the old roof and brought the shingles to the Asphalt Roof Recycling Center in Stratford, CT to get the shingles turned into brand new roads. Then we replaced any damaged plywood decking and laid down Ice & Water Shield to protect the home from the outside elements. To top it off we put in a new VentSure Ridge Vent to provide consistent attic ventilation as well as new lead chimney flashing. 

This single family home in Vernon, CT was built in 1959. After tearing off two layers of shingles, the damaged plywood decking was fully replaced. This can help block any moisture from entering the home. The chimney flashing was removed and replaced. The roof of this home can now withstand what New England weather has to offer!
