A homeowner in South Windsor, CT, reached out to Klaus Larsen Roofing after discovering leaks near the front of his home, despite the roof being only 8 years old. Frustrated and looking for a long-term solution, he wanted to work with a roofing company that would deliver real protection that lasts. Since his home also has solar panels, it was important that the new roofing system be strong, secure, and built to handle the added weight. Our crew removed the failing materials and installed a complete Klaus Roofing System, starting with SealoronXT Deck Tape to seal the seams of the plywood, followed by SealoronXT Ice & Water along all edges and valleys, and VeloraONE Roof Underlayment over the remaining surface. At this late 1960's home in Madison, CT we replaced the roof and replaced the flashing along the chimney with new lead flashing. We then laid down ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment. This durable, tear-resistant material is engineered to repel water and to adhere to the roofing surface. To ensure proper ventilation to the attic we put in a new VentSure Ridge Vent. These homeowners can now face winter worry-free.
