We applied SealoronXT Deck Tape to seal the plywood seams, added SealoronXT Ice & Water and VeloraONE Underlayment for leak protection, and finished with IKO Dynasty shingles in Granite Black. We replaced this old, mossy roof, with a brand new one!

This homeowner's roof had been protecting her home for over two decades, but it was clearly time for an upgrade. We removed the aging roofing system and took the time to inspect the deck underneath to make sure everything was in good shape before rebuilding. The seams of the plywood were sealed with SealoronXT Deck Tape, followed by SealoronXT Ice & Water in the most exposed areas. We then installed Velora One Underlayment across the entire roof to create a strong, sealed base. The final step was installing new shingles in Brownstone, giving the home a refreshed look and reliable protection for years to come.

Dennis in Kingston, NY, reached out to us because his roof about 30 years old, was ready to be replaced. The existing shingles were asphalt, but underneath them was asbestos material, so before any work began, Dennis scheduled a licensed removal company to take care of the asbestos. Once that was handled and we coordinated dates with their team, we stepped in to begin the full replacement. Since the shingles were already removed, we started by taking off the old cedar shakes and installing new plywood across all the shingled areas on the main upper roof. For the flat roof at the very top of the home, we used a durable modified bitumen system to give it long-lasting protection. We also removed the iron fence that had been mounted on the roof to ensure a clean, safe surface. To finish the project, we updated the home with new IKO Dynatsy Shadow Brown shingles.
