Our client had recurring water problems cause of the inadequate sump pump system that was installed when he bought the house. We installed the SuperSump, along with an UltraSump battery backup sump pump which alone can pump out 12,000 gallons of water on full charge. This system provided the owner with a long-lasting protection from power outages, sump pump failures, blown fuses, and similar issues.

This basement in Hawkesbury, Qc was suffering from water infiltration although it had already a pump used. To fix this situation, we replaced the pedestal pump by our TripleSafe so that our client could use his basement without worrying about potential risks.

This basement in Mont-Tremblant was very humid due to water infiltration. Mr. Mendez said that he saw mold stains on the walls.

Our client did not have a sump pump system in his basement so we installed a SuperSump sump pump system which includes a 1/2 HP Zoeller cast iron pump as well as a WaterGuard interior French drain. The WaterGuard is laid on the foundation footing all along the walls to collect water from the foundation walls and soil to direct it to the SuperSump.

The problem

The solution

We removed the old pump in order to install our SmartSump sump pump system. We have covered the earthen floor with a drainage membrane that will be able to direct water to the SmartSump and that will add some insulation value. Next, we added a CleanSpace vapor barrier coating on top of the drainage membrane to insulate the earthen floor of the house and block moisture from the floor. Finally, we installed our Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier to control the humidity level.
