This resident of Montreal  had problems of water infiltration since the purchase of her house. Furthermore, she had not yet found a solution that satisfied her enough to carry out the work.

After hearing about Basement Systems Québec and its inner foundation drain system, the owner decided to have this system installed in her basement.

 The WaterGuard is a very efficient system and gets installed from the inside of the house, unlike the French drain that must be installed by digging around the residence. In addition, it offers our clients a lifetime guarantee and peace of mind.

Problem:

Mr. Tella had moisture problems in his house which came from the earthen crawl space.

Solution:

Encapsulate the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. It is installed on the earthen floor of the crawl space and sealed to the wall. The moisture coming from the earthen floor is then blocked. The crawl space will therefore be drier and the rest of the house too.

In the before photo, you can see the danger inside this basement in Montreal incarnated by a big crack causing water infiltration. With walls seemingly under siege by water, the sense of urgency was palpable. Here's where we stepped in. Through our dedicated intervention, the nightmare of a leaking basement was transformed into peace of mind.

Our client had a mold problem that was starting to show up and was becoming more and more serious.

In order to fix the problem, our specialist installed a ;Drainage Matting to collect the water that escapes from the ground and accumulates in the crawl space;  A CleanSpace to isolate the earth from the rest of the crawl space to reduce humidity.

 To get the excess water out of the crawl space, a SuperSump was installed. It is a covered pump that prevents the moisture from getting out.

Thanks to these solutions, our client now enjoys a house protected against humidity and mold.

Our client had a poor functioning French drain system, whose results were seen during every major rain. After contacting our company, we have informed him that an indoor drain installation was the option.
