Our clients in TMR had water problems in his basement for over 5 years. They have decided recently to sell their house, and as such to avoid having any problems during the sale, they decided to finally fix this issue.

They needed a reliable sump pump system that solved their problem permanently. After undergoing extensive research, they found that the SuperSump pumping system would remedy their situation for good.

Mrs. Chan had water infiltration problems in her basement, due to the hydrostatic water pressure under her basement’s slab.

Our team has installed our WaterGuard system in order to collect any water leaking at the foundation wall joints and drained this water to an installed SuperSump sump pump, the best sump pump in Quebec.

Once the Waterguard was installed in the basement, we have layered cement on top and smoothed it for a nice final look.

We have completely encapsulated this crawl space by installing our CleanSpace Drain Mat under our CleanSpace Anti-mold Steam Membrane. Then we installed an UltraSump booster pump that runs on battery power during power outages. Subsequently, we solidified the crawl space structure by installing 9 SmartJack pillars and 24 PowerBrace support beams. To finalize it all, we added IceGuard and LawnScape accessories to the dump line to provide extra safety against flooding.

This client had a wet crawl space where support beams began to sag. The infiltrating water was neither blocked nor drained, which caused it to accumulate in the air and be absorbed by the support beams.

To solve this problem, we installed a CleanSpace membrane to block water vapor, a SmartDrain drain to accumulate and redirect water, as well as SmartJacks support pillars and SmartJacks support beams.

Water infiltration is a problem for many homeowners. Water can drive up under the foundation at the joints between the floor and the wall or through cracks in the walls as well. These situations are often due to a high water table, hydrostatic pressure, and the normal shrinkage of concrete.

This is what happened in this basement in Lasalle, and when we went to check up the area Mr. Neil informed us that it had been this way for years and he tried to fix it many times but it was all in vain.

We informed Mr. Neil then that the best thing to do is to waterproof the entire basement.

The waterproofing consists of the following:

An interior Drain called ‘The WaterGuard’ to capture wall and floor seepage before it reaches your basement floor; a ‘TripleSafe’ sump pump to pump the water out, and finally an ‘IceGuard’ accessory that prevents pipe freezing.
