Installing a TripleSafe Sump Pump in Dorval, Quebec

In Dorval, Quebec, a dry, worry-free basement seemed like a distant dream for this homeowner, plagued by the anxiety of a missing sump pump. We introduced the TripleSafe Sump Pump, ensuring the once water-threatened space now stands as the epitome of dry and secure, as showcased in the after photo. Embodying our mission, we transformed fear into comfort, fret into forget, providing a remarkable solution that promises lasting relief.

Sump pump installation in Dorval,Qc

Here is one of our jobs in Dorval, where we have changed the open and poorly installed sump with our SuperSump, a closed sump with a cast iron pump.

Pumps on pedestals overheat and usually make more noise since they are installed outside the sump!

Waterproofing a cold room in a basement in Dorval, Qc

Mr. Dauphin has a cold room in his basement with concrete walls and floors. When there are heavy rains, water seeps into it. He's already had up to 1 inch of water in that room. Knowing that this could happen again, he contacted Systèmes Sous-sol Québec to fix the situation.

The solution for our client is to waterproof the cold room. For this, our experts installed our WaterGuard internal drain system on the footing of the foundation and connected it to our TripleSafe sump pump system. In this way, the water from the walls flows into the WaterGuard and then is directed into the sump pump system to be ejected outside. Then, in order to remove the humidity, they put a drainage membrane on the walls and our CleanSpace membrane on top. The CleanSpace provides a barrier against water vapor and makes the room brighter.

With this solution, Mr. Dauphin has a dry cold room at all times!

A waterproofed stairwell in Mercier, QC

When water seeps into a stairwell and you already have a sump pump system in another basement room that is draining water, we can help you fix the problem with an interior waterproofing system.

Our solution: install an internal foundation drain that catches water from the ground under the stairs and on the walls of the staircase and discharges it through a pipe connected to the sump pump a little further.

It is an effective and discreet solution and once the drain is covered, you will not even see it anymore.

Here is a photo during the inspection that contains the annotations of the basement waterproofing specialist and a photo of the result once the system is installed. Once the concrete has dried, you do not notice any difference other than the fact that your basement will be dry!

A crack that brought water to Bois-des-Filion

It's never a good thing to have a crack that serves as a gateway to the water in your basement. This is why you must seal this crack permanently and waterproof the basement.
