Encapsulation of a crawl space in Louiseville, Qc

Our client Mr. Michaud needed to renovate his parent’s house in Louiseville. His parents had complained of a mold smell on the main floor of the house and the cold floors. He contacted Systèmes Sous-sol Québec for a quick and above all permanent solution.

So we suggested the insulation of the walls with our SilverGlo insulation panels, install our SmartSump sump pump system, lay a drainage mat on the floor so that the water on the surface can be directed to the sump pump system and then lay over our designed crawl space liner, the CleanSpace. It is used to isolate the house from the earth which is in the crawl space. It is also composed of antimicrobials and gives a clear and clean appearance to the crawl space. Finally, our Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier was installed. It is quite simply the best and the most efficient.

Mr. Michaud was very happy with the solutions we provided and will no longer have to worry about humidity and mold odors in his parent’s place.

Vapour membrane to encapsulate Brigham crawl space

A crawl space is a bad thing for the house. In fact, clay floors are filled with water and transmit water vapors filled with moisture, bacteria, and mold. As the air flows upwards, the air in the crawl space goes to the upper floors of your home, causing you to breathe infected air. In order to solve this problem and make the air in your home healthier, it is important to encapsulate the crawlspace. In order to do do so, we installed our patented CleanSpace vapor barrier membrane. The CleanSpace membrane is composed of 7 layers of treated polyethylene in which an antibacterial additive is added. The membrane is finally treated with an ultra-violet additive in order to extend its resistance and its lifespan as long as possible. Crawl space encapsulation allows this space to be healthier and more useful because you can now use it to store your belongings. All of this gives value to your home!

Encapsulation of Granby, Qc Dirt Crawl Space

A vented dirt crawl space is not a good thing. Damp exposed soils contribute to a lot of water vapor into the air and humid air fosters the proliferation of bacteria such as mold and allergens. Moreover, groundwater seeps and leaks rush from under the footing, between the footing and walls, right through block walls and through cracks in poured walls. Once inside, the water stays there slowly evaporating into the air. It is very difficult to completely dry damp earth but when it does dry a little, water vapors move upward into the house towards your bedrooms and living rooms.

To fix this problem, we completely encapsulated this crawlspace using our heavy duty CleanSpace drainage matting and CleanSpace liner and installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifying system. The Sedona eliminates damp, musty odors in your crawlspace by drying and filtering the air. It's a high performance and high-efficiency systems. You will save on electricity while keeping your space dry and healthy for many years to come.

Crawl space Encapsulation in Saint-Helene-De-Bagot, Quebec

A homeowner in Sainte-Helene-De-Bagot, Quebec, was concerned with significant humidity within their crawl space, prompting the need for a thorough inspection followed by a permanent solution. Upon assessment, our specialist identified key indicators of excessive moisture, most notably efflorescence, a clear sign of prolonged exposure to high humidity levels. To mitigate this issue and safeguard the home, we proceeded with the installation of the CleanSpace encapsulation system. This system integrates a durable drainage membrane with a high-efficiency vapor barrier. Together, these components effectively manage moisture levels by preventing water infiltration and reducing ground moisture evaporation. As a result, the crawl space is now thoroughly sealed and protected, ensuring long-term moisture control and preserving the structural integrity of the property.
