Quality 1st Basement Systems received a phone call from a homeowner in Somerset, NJ about a foundation concern. The homeowner noticed their basement walls were cracking and bowing inwards. We had our System Design Specialist, Mike F., go to the home and inspect the walls. He presented his findings to the homeowner and recommended the Carbon Armor Straps would be the perfect solution. The Carbon Armor Straps are our flexible and durable foundation repair straps that stabilize bowing walls. Since the repair, the homeowner has not experienced any other issues in their home. 

A Somerset, NJ homeowner noticed their basement wall was beginning to bow inwards, so they contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems for a solution. A Monmouth Junction, NJ homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems describing their basement walls had began to move inwards. We call this, bowing, and it is usually caused by hydrostatic pressure against the foundation from the opposite side. The solution we recommended for a basement wall experiencing this type of movement, is the Carbon Armor Reinforcement System. The Carbon Armor Straps are applied to the wall with an epoxy adhesive which stabilizes the walls. 

The GeoLock wall anchor system permanently stabilizes your foundation wall and in many cases can straighten your wall back toward its original position. Heavy-duty earth anchors are embedded in stable soil away from your foundation wall and are then connected to steel channel anchors with long, galvanized rods. Once tightened, the anchors will hold the wall securely in its current position without any further adjustment. The holes in the lawn are filled once the anchor is in place. Over time, the anchors can be tightened from the inside to move the wall back to its original position.
