At Quality 1st, we recently had the pleasure of helping a homeowner in Conowingo, MD, tackle their persistent basement waterproofing problem. The homeowner reached out to us after noticing water seepage that made their basement damp, musty, and unusable. After setting up an appointment, a System Design Specialist from our team visited the home to inspect the situation firsthand. It was clear that the basement needed a robust solution to prevent water from making its unwelcome entrance. After a thorough evaluation, we recommended a combination of our cutting-edge solutions: the WaterGuard interior drainage system, the TripleSafe Sump Pump, and the CleanSpace vapor barrier. 

A homeowner in Conowingo, MD, became increasingly concerned about persistent water intrusion in their basement. Over time, the water seepage had begun to affect the air quality and overall integrity of their home, creating a musty, damp environment. The homeowner realized that this ongoing issue could lead to serious structural damage and poor indoor air quality, so they contacted Quality 1st for a professional evaluation. Our expert team quickly identified the problem areas and designed a customized solution tailored to the home's needs.

To effectively address the water intrusion, we installed our patented TrenchDrain System at key entry points, such as doorways and stairwells, to capture surface water before it could seep into the basement. Along the perimeter, we added our WaterGuard Drainage System to prevent water from entering through the walls, efficiently redirecting it away from the foundation. For water removal, we equipped the basement with both a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump and a TripleSafe Sump Pump, providing multiple levels of protection. Finally, we placed our high-performance SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to control humidity and maintain healthy, dry air.

With these systems in place, the homeowner's basement was restored to a dry, stable, and healthy condition, providing peace of mind and long-term protection!

This homeowner had some trouble in her crawlspace after Hurricane Ida came through. There was standing water, mold and a musty smell. The customer was interested in waterproofing solutions and wanted the space encapsulated. Here we began removing all the old insulation and treating the area with Mold-X2 Cleaner and Botanical. Since the space had issues with standing water, we installed a SmartSump Sump Pump System to route away any incoming water. The old insulation was replaced with SilverGlo Thermal Insulated Panels. To encapsulate the space, we laid down CleanSpace Drainage Matting followed by our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier Liner.

Customer had an ongoing moisture issue, which was causing mold to form on the block walls in the unfinished portion of the basement. Our solution for this issue was to a full Mold remediation treatment on the walls showing mold, a Cleanspace Vapor Barrier, Bright Wall and Basement to Beautiful wall system, Waterguard and a SuperSump plus.

This customer travels often for work and was concerned about his old sump pump system failing while away. No fear! We installed a TripleSafe sump pump system. The Triple Safe has three pumps. Pump 1 does the majority of the pumping. Pump 2 kicks in if Pump 1 needs assistance during a severe storm. Pump 3 is the UltraSump Battery Back-up system. As an added precaution, he also had us install an Ice Guard. In the event the end of his discharge line freezes in cold weather, his TripleSafe sump pump will still be pumping water outside, keeping the basement DRY!!
