The homeowner reported experiencing water seepage from their walls during rainfall, resulting in significant damage to the basement walls. This customer opted to have his crawl space encapsulated for energy efficiency. Part of the plan proposed by Design Specialist Laszlo Lenkey was to seal off the crawl space vents to prevent cool, damp air from entering the crawl space, helping to eliminate the opportunity for mold and musty smells to develop.
