A homeowner in Lakehurst, New Jersey called Quality 1st Basement Systems for a free estimate on crawl space encapsulation and insulation. Their crawl space was humid and the fiberglass insulation was messy and wet. 

Quality 1st Basement Systems installed CleanSpace crawl space vapor barrier. CleanSpace stops moisture from entering the crawl space. Humid crawl spaces can grow mold and mildew, and the wet air can seep to the rest of the house. To replace the wet fiberglass, SilverGlo insulation was installed. SilverGlo insulates better than fiberglass, and is much cleaner. Fiberglass can grow mold, is not waterproof, and does not insulate cold at the source. Now this crawl space has a lower humidity, stays dry, and will save the homeowner money on heating. Proper crawl space insulation and vapor barrier pays for itself in savings!

CleanSpace Vapor Barrier is a durable but flexible liner used to separate the earth from the home in crawl spaces. This customer also had SilverGlo Wall Panels installed to add to the insulation. Design Specialist Joseph Mancini helped the customer choose a plan that best fit their needs while Jonathan Neira and his crew installed the selected products (including SmartPipe and Drainage matting beneath the CleanSpace, and a SuperSump sump pump system, a Sedona air filtration system and vent cover not shown here).

Water damage was evidenced in this Morris County home due to the efflorescence on the crawl space walls. Efflorescence is caused by minerals left behind when water evaporates off of a surface. It looks like white chalky powder. Quality 1st Basement Systems installed CleanSpace wall liners to seal off the crawl space from the humidity of the earth, a sump pump which will drain water out of the crawl space, and a SaniDry crawl space dehumidifier to keep the area moisture free all the time!

This homeowner in Westfiled, NJ was experiencing minor water issues in their basement and wanted a better solution than the existing Sump Pump that they had. Quality 1st Basement Systems installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump, which properly drains water out of the basement.
