Shrewsbury wet basement needed Sump Pump protection. Quality 1st Basement Systems installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump. The TripleSafe contains three separate sump pumps in one liner. The third pump is battery operated which will kick in when the power goes out, which usually happens during big rain storms, ensuring that this basement will always stay dry!
Old brick and block wall foundations are no barrier to water. This customer sought help from Quality 1st Basements and Design Specialist Jonathan Seminerio developed a plan. WaterGuard drainage system, a TripleSafe Sump Pump System, and CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier System were all installed by foreman Juan Garcia and his crew to control the issue with water seeping into the basement.
Wet basement walls can be cleaned up with CleanSpace Water Vapor Barrier System. The reinforced poly liner is secured to the basement wall with fasteners and directs any vapor behind it to a Waterguard Drainage System installed on the footing beneath the basement floor. Foreman Juan Garcia and his crew installed the system for this customer.
A homeowner in Shrewsbury, New Jersey reported their walls becoming damaged by water. This can happen when the soil around the home's foundation is poorly compacted and becomes saturated with water from heavy rainfall. This saturated soil creates hydrostatic pressure which pushes water through the walls. The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Jack Huber, provided an inspection and suggested they replace the water-damaged wall. Our foreman, Mario Barron, installed the EverLast Wall Panels on the bottom half of the wall to directly remove the water-damage. These wall panels are water-proof and mold-proof, making for the perfect solution for an unfinished basement.
Each year, our homeowners are provided with the opportunity to schedule annual maintenance for their sump pump system. Once the appointment has been set, our service team cleans out the sump pump. This prevents the system from clogging and developing issues for the home and homeowner and continues to provide protection against water damage.
