This customer already had foundation repair done on one side of her basement, then little by little the other side started to show signs of cracking throughout the block foundation. Worried about those foundation cracks, she reached out to us for help.

We came out and installed 11 Carbon Armor Strips. The Carbon Armor Strips contour tightly against the foundation wall and straps to the floor joist making a quick stabilization process for bowing or leaning walls. 

This homeowner came to us regarding waterproofing the basement to prevent any type of flooding. We installed our SuperSump pump system with our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the sub-flooring. We also installed our UltraSump battery backup pump in case there is any type of power outage or if a breaker gets tripped. The system will still run during those instances to keep your basement dry, safe and flood free.

At this Middle River home, water was coming in through the basement stairwell door and the homeowner realized that the pipeline connecting to the sump pump system had rusted over, being no longer connected. Our team went in to dig a trench on the outside of the stairwell door to install our TrenchDrain sub-floor system. The simplest, most effective way to stop the basement from flooding is by having a sub-floor drain that will prevent water from entering the outer entryway. 

In this dirt floor crawl space in Middle River, MD, mold was present on the beams along with the start of wood rot, which had caused the need to replace the subfloor. A plastic tarp was placed on the dirt floor to be used as a vapor barrier, which we replaced with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier that will reduce the moisture and humidity coming in. The team also wrapped the bottom of each pier with the CleanSpace barrier to fully encapsulate the crawlspace, turning it from a dark, dirty space into a clean and dry area. 

Water has been getting into this dirt crawlspace in this Middle River, MD home. The insulation from the last job was falling off the walls. They called Quality 1st Basements to assess their water damage. System Design Specialist, Jeff Yentzer did a full inspection and recommended a CleanSpace encapsulation. CleanSpace is made from a durable liner that creates a barrier from the moist wall to the crawlspace air and the material doesn't support the growth of mold or mildew. The homeowner can now relax knowing their encapsulated crawlspace is fully protected from further moisture damage and they have a pleasing to the eye storage space.
