Encapsulating a crawl space is very beneficial for your home and your family. Keeping that space under your home protected against, water, moisture, mold and bacteria creates healthy air for your family to breath in throughout your entire home. Thanks to our System Design Specialist, Laszlo and our team lead by Jonathan, Quality 1st was able to transform this nasty damp crawl space into a clean and healthy environment under their home. 

This crawl space was damp in the summer and cold in the winter. Quality 1st Basement Systems installed CleanSpace crawl space vapor barrier in the crawl space to seal it off from the outside air. This crawl space is now clean and healthy!

Denville, NJ homeowner had a wet dirt crawl space that needed to be cleaned out and encapsulated. The crawl space was filled of debris, water, mud and had a cold draft that was felt by people walking on the floor of the first level of the home. Quality 1st Basement Systems installed CleanSpace to seal off the crawl space from the outside environment. The liner has a vapor barrier built in to prevent water, moisture and mold. 

This damp and musty Denville, NJ crawl space needed to be cleaned up. To do this, CleanSpace wall system was installed in the crawl space. CleanSpace is the perfect solution to a dry crawl space because it holds back water vapor and directs the water in the walls to the sump pump. Also, SilverGlo Crawl Space Wall Insulation was installed on the crawl space walls to keep the crawl space dry and warm. SilverGlo contains tiny particles that reflect heat and lower the material's conductivity. This system reflects heat back into the crawl space, making it a warmer environment, and the home warmer as well. The homeowner was worried about the crawl space sagging, so SmartJackks were installed. SmartJacks are an adjustable supplemental support system that can lift floor joists or beams, restoring them to their original positions.     

A homeowner in Denville, New Jersey noticed their crawl space had high moisture and some dampness. They contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Dane Cuccinello, provided an inspection and suggested they encapsulate the crawl space. Our foreman, Mario Barron, installed the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System, which is thick and durable like a pool liner. This system seals the crawl space from the earth's elements and will prevent water and moisture from getting in.
