He suggested they install a new sump pump system, as well as a French drain system. Our foreman, Jonathan Neira, installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump which has three sump pumps in one sump liner. The sump pump effectively pumps out water and the third pump is a battery operated pump that kicks in if the power goes out. The sump pump also has an airtight enclosed lid to keep moisture out of the basement. The foreman also installed the WaterGuard Drain System which sits on top of the footing instead of alongside it. This is vital because it keeps the wet dirt from getting into the drain because the drain doesn't sit in the mud. WaterGuard will catch any water and drain it to the sump pump system.
