Jessica contacted Quality 1st Basements after noticing multiple signs of sagging floors. She had gaps between the floor and the interior wall from the floors sloping. Some of her doors and windows that use to operate succesfully were now sticking or wouldn't close. We sent System Design Specialist, Ken Peare out to inspect the crawl space and sit down with Jessica to discuss why her floors are sagging and the perfect solution to stable her crawl space beams!

Ken noticed signs that at one point water had gotten into her crawl space. The moisture from the water over time rotted the wood and deteriorated part of the floor joist. All of this caused her crawl space beams to sag creating uneven floors on the first level of her home.
