The before picture shows the French drain system known as WaterGuard connect into the sump liner. As water collects, its directed into the sump pump system. The airtight lid protects each pump inside all while preventing moisture from evaporating back into the air.

In this job Juan Garcia installed CleanSpace on the wall behind the sheetrock. As you can see, it creates a vapor barrier to prevent moisture from seeping in through the concrete wall and damaging the sheet rock.

The existing sump pump allowed water vapor to leave the sump and  evaporate in the basement air since it did not have an air tight lid.
