Rainfall is the greatest threat to a basement that is prone to leaking. The homeowner of this Highland Park, NJ home was tired of dealing with the heavy flow of water in their basement that came with the heavy rains. They contacted Quality 1st to help relieve any further presence of water in their basement and keep the space safe and dry. Our System Design Specialist Anthony arrived on site to assess the issues of the basement and propose the homeowner with a quote that could fix their problem. Later, our Foreman Miguel was sent out to the home to carry out the waterproofing installation along with our crew. What our crew was able upgrade was replacing the home's sump pump system with our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. This three-pump system provides three levels of protection against flooding water, and with the UltraSump Battery Backup that was installed along with it, this sump pump system is guaranteed to work even in the event of a power outage. We lined this basement with our WaterGuard Perimeter Drain to channel the water into the sump pump, as well as our TrenchLock Drain Inserts. These inserts allow water down into the drain system without permitting air back up.
We left this home protected and dry, and the homeowner yas satisfied with the peace of mind they had upon our installation completion.
This homeowner reached out to our team concerned about the moisture issues in their dirt crawl space. This is a common issue with homes built by the Jersey Shore. Our team meticulously installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier system in the crawl space to seal and encapsulate it properly.
Monroe homeowners had a nasty crawlspace they wanted cleaned up. Quality 1st Basement Systems removed debris and covered the crawl space in CleanSpace lining, which is made of plastic to protect against water and mold. The crew then installed a SaniDry Air System CX, a compact model specifically designed for crawl spaces that will both dehumidify and filter the air to keep it dry.
This walkway was sinking causing a tripping hazard. Quality 1st Basement Systems was out to install the PolyLevel System to lift and stabilize the sinking concrete. PolyLevel is a lightweight solution that is environmental friendly and waterproof so it will not wash out.
A homeowner living in Monroe Township contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems to have someone come out and inspect the concrete concerns they had for their backyard patio. The patio area around their pool had settled around an inch. With the help of System Design Specialist, Andrew Gagliardi and our team, each patio slab was raised and leveled using PolyLevel. The homeowner was amazed at how the PolyLevel injection lifted each settled slab back to its original state.
